Angry Panda’s thoughts on Obama’s inauguration.

  

In just a handful of hours, Barack Obama will become the 44th President of the United States of America.  Every four years our country gets to witness the peaceful transfer of power which reaffirms our great democracy.  Tomorrow’s inauguration goes far beyond the reaffirmation our democracy is intact and free  from tyranny and injustice.  It is a dream realized.  

What started many years ago as a handful of whispers has since harmonized into a roaring chorus which could be ignored no longer. No longer are we a nation of separate but equal.  No longer are we a nation who is divided by the individual differences of its citizens but rather united by a common purpose.  For the first time we have come to realize that we are no longer a prisoner of history but rather the ones who write it.

The future is bright.  Even on the darkest of days it is the enduring American spirit which upholds the truths we hold self-evident. That all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

I’m not sure I would want to eat an “angry” hamburger but Burger King has never disappointed me in the past so I might give the ANGRY WHOPPER a shot. Just keep that creepy plastic headed puppet king away from me please.

This week Louis Vuitton will be celebrating the launch of the Stephen Sprouse collection in their Soho flagship store.

For the launch, the luxury goods company is also creating two limited edition pieces, which will only be available at the SoHo location: a Stephen Sprouse graffiti skateboard replete with a hard case monogram skateboard trunk, and a Stephen Sprouse “Roses” T-shirt. The company hopes to sell three graffiti skateboards with trunks for $8,250 each, and 70 T-shirts for $250 each.
